Reconstructing times gone by

Task 8 - Movie

In groups, we will be creating a short movie recreating a day from times gone by in Breaffy.

Firstly, we will script the film using a story board. This is available on the Resource page.

You will have a chance to edit and present your movies at another time during the week.

Requirements for your Movie:

- Create story board to help focus your script.

-Decide on what aspect of Breaffy life your movie will focus on e.g. (school, play, family).

-Record movie using digital video recorder.
-Take inspiration from interviews, photos, videos and resource page

-Use different camera angles.

-Consider props and staging.

-Incorporate audio: This could be your grandparents interview or the old Breaffy song.

-Don't make it too long (5 mins max).

-Make sure you are recording!

Key Questions:

-How was life different in Breaffy years ago?
-What was a typical school day like?
-How did children get to school?
-Was there a school uniform?
-What were common games and pastimes?
-How was communication different?
-What did a typical meal consist of?
